BlackRock is in the market for a corporate development VP. The successful candidate will lead strategic and financial analysis of inorganic opportunities across the asset management and financial technology industries. Responsibilities include proactive outreach to investment banking, private equity and venture capital networks, as well as acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business leaders by staying abreast of global M&A events, macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments and other public market information. Four to eight years of financial services experience preferred. The position is located in New York.

Oaktree Capital Management has an opening for a senior vice president, private equity operations. The hire will work closely with Oaktree’s Special Situations investment professionals, portfolio company leadership teams, and professional service firms to drive performance improvement in existing investments and to provide differentiated due diligence capabilities in new deals. Qualifications include 10 to 15 years of business experience, including corporate operating and a minimum of three to five years in top-tier management consulting. The position is located in Los Angeles.

The Carlyle Group is looking to hire a 2-year junior analyst, fund management. The position plays a significant role in analyzing the quarterly valuations of fund investments, preparing materials to support fundraising initiatives, reviewing accounting records and quarterly financials, preparing performance metrics, and supporting and coordinating with the investment teams to structure, fund, and close investments. Strong performers will be considered for a third year and/or recommended for other opportunities within the firm. Qualifications include internship experience in an analytical or financial role and a strong accounting or financial background. The position is located in New York.

UBS is seeking an investment analyst for its Infrastructure Equities Americas team. Duties include conducting research to identify investment themes and acquisition opportunities, creating financial models of infrastructure projects and businesses, participating in analysis and due diligence of investment targets, and assisting in monitoring and managing portfolio assets. Candidates should have one to three years of experience in investment banking or a similar financial services profession. The position is located in New York.

SVB Capital, the venture capital investment arm of Silicon Valley Bank, is recruiting an associate, fund of funds. The hire will be involved in all qualitative aspects of venture capital fund of funds and direct fund operations. Responsibilities include analysis and projects of portfolio funds, preparing comprehensive overviews of venture capital firms and their portfolios, maintaining portfolio models, drafting investment memoranda and quarterly letters to investors, and supporting fundraising activities. Similar activities will be performed for direct investments. Two years of experience in private equity preferred. The position is located in Menlo Park, California.
