Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Blackstone, Ford Foundation, Goldman Sachs are hiring

The Blackstone Group is seeking an investor relations and reporting analyst, private equity. Responsibilities include support of all aspects of the marketing and fundraising cycle from fund concept, PPM preparation, launch, road show presentations, marketing, diligence and closing of investor capital commitments. One to three years of related experience and an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or economics are required. The position is located in New York.

The Ford Foundation is searching for a director, mission investing. The hire will be responsible for developing all areas of a new impact investing strategy targeting inequality, specifically in the areas of quality employment, affordable housing, and inclusive financial services, both in the U.S. and in emerging markets in the global South. She/he will also oversee and further develop the portfolio of PRIs, including the implementation of an integrated approach to PRIs and MRIs in a single team. Qualifications include a minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing portfolios, preferably in two or more asset classes (including private markets). The position is located in New York.

Goldman Sachs is looking for an analyst to join the Alternative Capital Markets group within its Investment Management Division. The successful candidate will coordinate and facilitate the fundraising process for private wealth management (PWM) alternative investment offerings, as well as structure all aspects of those offerings. She/he will also provide frequent investment updates and market commentary to both PWM professionals and external clients. With experience, senior analysts may have responsibility for direct client dialogues and new product pitches. The position is located in New York.

Partners Group has an opening for an investment analyst, private equity secondaries. Duties include quantitative and qualitative due diligence, portfolio monitoring, financial modeling, development of investment thesis, interaction with service providers and partnership with financial sponsors. Candidates should have one to two years of investment banking or comparable work experience. The position is located in New York.

Church Pension Group, benefits provider to the Episcopal Church, is looking to hire an investment analyst, private equity. The hire will be responsible for data collection, entry and analysis with respect to private equity investments. She/he will also prepare reports from Investran database, DoMo business intelligence and Excel. The position is expected to last three years. Qualifications include one to two years of relevant work experience, or an investment/finance internship. The position is located in New York.
