GE Digital is looking to hire a director, venture capital. The successful candidate will assist the team leader on software industry research; sourcing, leading and negotiating equity investment; and portfolio management. Duties include participating in all aspects of venture investment, managing and building relationships with VC firms and founders, and conducting in-depth analyses of targets. A minimum of seven years’ work experience in venture capital, strategy consulting, investment banking or portfolio management is required. An MBA is strongly preferred. The position is located in San Ramon, California.

Hudson Advisors is seeking a vice president to evaluate and execute new investment opportunities for private equity company Lone Star Funds. The hire will also be responsible for the asset management strategies of new and existing investments, primarily operating companies, special situations and commercial real estate. This position is located in Miami.

Coller Capital is in the market for a senior associate. The hire’s main function will be to evaluate potential transactions, including all primary quantitative and qualitative analysis of portfolio companies and funds. Other duties include participating in the development of deal structures, keeping up-to-date on portfolio performance, and building strong relationships with GPs, investors, consultants, and advisers. Applicants should have four to six years of experience in a relevant industry (e.g. PE, fund of funds, pension fund, family office, M&A/corporate finance). The position is located in New York.

Ridgewood Private Equity Partners has an opening for an associate, North American infrastructure. The hire will be involved in all facets of new investment evaluation and execution, along with portfolio company monitoring and management. Responsibilities include analysis of investment opportunities, market and industry research, due diligence on projects, preparation of term sheets, and participation in financings and investment exits. Qualifications include three to five years of related experience with an infrastructure private equity firm, or completion of an investment banking analyst program. The position is located in New York.

NYU is recruiting an associate for its Innovation Venture Fund. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating and leading the due diligence of investment opportunities in the IT and physical sciences sectors; helping to oversee portfolio company management and growth; and working to streamline Fund operations. Applicants should have three to five years of prior work experience in information technology. Knowledge of venture capital and early-stage investing and/or founder-level startup experience is preferred. The position is located in New York.
