Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Blackstone, Bank of America, Cambridge Associates are hiring

Blackstone is searching for 2018 summer associates. Successful candidates will work on companies in a wide range of industries, covering potential investments, acquisitions, analysis of potential exit opportunities, and monitoring of current portfolio companies. They will be involved in transaction due diligence, valuation analysis, and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an MBA program, with expected graduation in spring 2019. The position is located in New York.

Bank of America is seeking an investment manager research analyst, private equity. The hire will evaluate managers across private markets, write private equity strategy and white papers related to new opportunities, analyze GP track records, prepare investment memoranda, attend LP meetings, and assist in special projects. She will also lead or co-lead the due diligence process for private equity and real assets funds, presenting key findings at various committees and communicating with advisors and clients as appropriate. The position is located in New York.

Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services is looking for a business development professional, private equity. Responsibilities include identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospective new clients, leveraging existing client relationships and networks to generate commercial interest, creating compelling value propositions mapped to client business needs, negotiating and closing complex agreements, deal sourcing, target evaluation, and investment review. Candidates should have five to 10 years’ experience either selling research, advisory and consulting to private equity clients or working with PE funds throughout North America. The position is located in New York.

Cambridge Associates has an opening for an investment associate, U.S. private equity. The hire will coordinate and participate in fundraising meetings and portfolio updates with private investment fund managers; participate in the manager assessment process, including writing summaries of each meeting for distribution within the firm; contribute to in-depth written due diligence; monitor market trends related to fundraising and investment activity and contribute to periodic market updates; and prepare materials for and participate in monthly firm-wide meetings. The position is located in San Francisco.

Key Bank is in the market for a corporate strategy analyst. The successful candidate will work with executives and business leaders across KeyCorp in strategy development and M&A transaction identification, evaluation and execution. Duties include preparing benchmark analyses and reports, developing and maintaining a profile database of competitors and potential partners/targets, assisting with the overall corporate planning process, supporting development of valuation models for both bank and non-bank transactions, executing the post-deal process for reviewing quality of assumptions, and supporting integration activities for any consummated transaction and due diligence efforts. One to three years of professional experience in M&A and/or corporate strategy are required. The position is located in Cleveland, Ohio.
