Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Neuberger Berman, Blackstone, Accelerator Group are hiring

A weekly roundup of jobs in the private equity industry – from buyout shops to venture capital funds to investment banks.

Neuberger Berman is seeking a senior associate (post-MBA), private equity. The hire will conduct due diligence on primary fund investments and co-investment opportunities, including industry and company research; perform in-depth valuation analysis of private companies and PE portfolios; meet with partners of premier PE firms; and monitor investments through attending annual meetings of firms, evaluating positions in public securities and attending board calls. Requirements include at least four years in PE and/or investment banking, buyside experience strongly preferred. The position is located in New York.

FW Capital is searching for an investment manager, private equity. An affiliate of Fort Washington Investment Advisors, the group is a manager of private equity funds-of-funds and secondary funds. The hire will principally focus on sourcing and leading due diligence of primary and secondary investments in private equity funds (and possibly due diligence of PE co-investments). He or she will also play a senior role in contributing to the growth and success of the business, including developing and managing client relationships. Qualifications include at least five years of experience in private equity, investment banking, equity research, strategy consulting and/or corporate development. The position is located in the Cincinnati, Kentucky area.

Blackstone’s GSO Capital Partners, the firm’s global credit investment platform, is looking for a portfolio manager analyst. Duties include assisting with pre-trade compliance, allocating trades in accordance with indenture guidelines, assisting in running hypo trade programs to improve CLO metrics, working to monitor investment guideline compliance, coordinating with CLO underwriters to submit asset lists for warehouse approvals, and helping to construct model portfolios for prospective funds. Two to three years of work experience, ideally from a trade operations or finance and accounting background with understanding of CLO structure mechanics, are required. The position is located in New York.

Accelerator Group is in the market for a principal for a new early-stage fund for women-owned and-led businesses in India (AWE Early Stage Fund I). The hire will identify entrepreneurs and management teams for potential investments, engage with women business owners and their teams to develop investment theses, gather data and information on potential investment opportunities, lead and coordinate due diligence on selected companies, lead negotiation and documentation for deal closing, and work with portfolio companies to track performance. Requirements include at least eight years of relevant early-stage investing experience, preferably in India. The position is located in Mumbai or Delhi. Submit resume and cover letter to Mr. N. S. Wafra Investment Advisory Group, a subsidiary of the Public Institution for the Social Security of Kuwait, has an opening for an associate/vice president, alternative investments division. Responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities, preparing financial models, performing market research, authoring investment memoranda, and sourcing and developing relationships with fund managers and investors in private markets. Candidates should have four to seven years’ work experience at an endowment/foundation, pension, family office or alternative investment firm. The position is located in New York.
