Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Blackstone, Oaktree, Facebook are hiring

Blackstone Group is hiring an investor relations and reporting analyst, private equity. The successful candidate will support all aspects of the marketing and fundraising cycle from fund concept, PPM preparation, launch, road show presentations, marketing, diligence and closing of investor capital commitments. Duties include creating investor presentations, handling management reporting for the business as well as corporate finance, and conducting fund update calls with LPs. One to three years of related experience required. The position is located in New York.

Oaktree Capital Management is seeking a vice president to join its Power Opportunities Group, which targets control private equity investments in mid-sized power and energy businesses. Responsibilities include involvement with all aspects of the investment process, conducting industry research and identifying sector trends and themes, and sourcing investment opportunities by networking with intermediaries, industry executives and directly with target companies. Five years of investment experience with a top-tier private equity firm and/or investment bank required; some knowledge of energy strongly preferred. The position is located in Brentwood, CA.

Facebook is searching for a strategy analyst, mobile partnerships. The hire will work on various strategy and analysis projects to support decision-making of product and program teams, primarily in connectivity. Typical assignments will include analysis of technology and markets, identification and evaluation of opportunities, and strategy synthesis. At least four years of experience in investment banking, private equity, strategy, data science or management consulting required. The position is located in Menlo Park, CA.

Dyal Capital Partners, a group within Neuberger Berman dedicated to acquiring minority stakes in alternative asset managers, is in the market for a finance analyst. The hire will be responsible for managing the finance and accounting work streams within Dyal and will be fully integrated into the investment team. An undergraduate degree in accounting or finance and three to five years of experience in a fund controller and/valuation capacity are required. The position is located in New York.

Two Sigma Ventures has an opening for a summer investment associate. The successful candidate will work on sourcing, deal evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and ongoing portfolio management, gaining exposure to a broad set of companies. Applicants should be college sophomores or juniors with a passion for data and technology. An ability to code is a plus. The position is located in New York.
