Gary Weinstein has joined Providence Equity Partners as chief operating officer. He previously was with Lehman Brothers, as a managing director and global chief administration officer of investment banking.

Originally joining Lehman Brothers in 1988, Mr. Weinstein served in a variety of senior positions, including heading the firm's Global Convertibles, European Equities, Global Syndicate and Equity Capital Markets, Global Healthcare, Consumer Retail and Industrial Investment Banking. Prior to Lehman, Mr. Weinstein spent four years at Goldman Sachs where he was Head Trader of Convertibles.

Mr. Weinstein earned a B.B.A. degree with highest distinction from Emory University School of Business Administration in 1979. He also earned a J.D. from the Emory University School of Law in 1982.
