PricewaterhouseCoopers today announced that John P. McCaffrey has been appointed leader of the U.S. Transaction Services group. The firm also announced the appointment of Timothy Hartnett as U.S. Private Equity Leader.
Mr. McCaffrey, who is a member of the firm’s U.S. Board of Partners, previously led the U.S. Private Equity group and was also the U.S. Transaction Services Financial Diligence Leader. In his new role, Mr. McCaffrey leads over 1,000 experienced deal professionals who help clients implement and execute mergers and acquisitions through different phases of the deal process from strategy, execution, post-deal support to exit as they expand and grow. Mr. McCaffrey succeeds Michael J. Burwell, former head of the U.S. Transaction Services group, who now is the Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. firm.
