PWP-backed Hyphen to buy HomeFront Software, Zybertech

Hyphen Solutions has agreed to acquire HomeFront Software, a Calgary-based provider of home builder software, and Zybertech Construction Software Services, a Calgary-based distributor of construction and real estate software.

Terms weren’t released for the deal, which is expected to close this month.

HomeFront and Zybertech are both led by President and CEO Daryl Shenner.

Hyphen, an Addison, Texas-based provider of cloud construction management software, said the buy will widen its reach in the residential construction space.

Hyphen has been backed since 2016 by PWP Growth Equity, a private equity fund managed by U.S. advisory firm Perella Weinberg Partners.


Hyphen Solutions to Acquire Zybertech Construction Software and HomeFront Software

Combination of Hyphen technology, Zybertech distribution of Sage, and Homefront ERP solution will widen Hyphen’s reach in Residential Construction

DALLAS, Feb. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Hyphen Solutions, the leading cloud-based construction management software, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire HomeFront Software, a leading ERP platform focused on residential builders, along with Zybertech Construction Software Services, Canada’s largest distributor of Sage 100 and Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate Software. The parties expect the transaction to close this month.

Zybertech works directly with Sage 100/300 CRE, Sage Construction Project Center, Sage Estimating, Command Center, Sage Service Operations, and Workticket. HomeFront Software delivers home builder specific CRM and Sales Management, Estimating and Purchasing, Production and Scheduling as well as Service and Warranty. HomeFront’s open platform integrates directly with six accounting systems so that builders can pick their system of choice and still use HomeFront’s builder centric platform.
