Ramazetti Joins Vector Capital

David Ramazetti has joined Vector Capital as an MD of business development. Most recently, Ramazetti was an MD at Piper Jaffray.

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Vector Capital, a leading private equity firm specializing in transformational investments in established technology businesses, welcomes David Ramazetti as a Managing Director. Ramazetti joins Vector having spent almost 20 years working with technology companies, including more than a decade in technology investment banking. He was most recently a Managing Director at Piper Jaffray, and prior to that worked at RBC Capital Markets and Cowen & Co.

Ramazetti will be responsible for Vector’s equity and credit deal origination efforts, including building the firm’s relationships with company senior executives, investment bankers and other important intermediaries. Over his career, Ramazetti has worked closely with senior executives and board members at publicly and privately held companies to analyze and execute a variety of financing and strategic transactions, including private equity investments and buyouts, strategic sales and acquisitions, credit transactions and IPOs. He has closed over 50 transactions throughout his investment banking career with an aggregate value of more than $15 billion. His efforts have been focused on companies in the software, SAAS and IT security sectors and he also has experience with tech enabled services and content, systems, internet, telecom, education technology, industrial technology, homeland security, biometrics, and semiconductor businesses. Ramazetti received his degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
