PRESS RELEASE

NEW YORK, (July 9, 2013) – Raven Capital Management LLC (“Raven”), a private equity manager that invests in asset-based senior secured loans and cash flow generating assets, today announced the final closing of Raven Asset-Based Opportunity Fund I. The fund now has over $150 million in capital commitments.
“While low interests rates and volatility dominate the broader fixed income markets, we believe attractive opportunities exist in the un-banked and off-the-run credits we directly originate,” said Josh Green. “We are pleased with the confidence our investors have shown in us, and look forward to working with a diverse set of counterparties.”
In addition to the fund closing, Raven announced that Chris Felice joined the company as the firm’s Controller. Mr. Felice comes to Raven from HGGC (formerly Huntsman Gay Global Capital), a middle-market private equity firm with approximately $1.1 billion in committed capital, where he served as vice president and controller.
