Red Fort Capital has named Bala Bellur as a principal. Previously, Bellur worked at Deloitte & Touche in the U.S. where he served as a partner. Red Fort Capital is a private equity real estate firm focused on India.

Red Fort Capital, a private equity real estate firm focused on India, announced today that Bala Bellur has joined the firm as Principal to continue its initiatives to build-out a core portfolio. At Red Fort, Mr. Bellur will continue the firm’s expansion in areas such as completed asset acquisitions, third-party asset management, and debt financing and build Red Fort Capital’s Chicago office.

Prior to joining Red Fort Capital, Mr. Bellur was a Partner in Deloitte & Touche LLP in the United States where he has served in various capacities for over 20 years including leading the financial services industry practice of Deloitte in Florida and Puerto Rico and Deloitte’s Global IFRS and Offering Services in India, and in serving some of Deloitte’s largest clients. He has also served on and led several high profile cross-border merges & acquisition projects across various industries. He has presented on a number of topics publicly in conferences hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Asian Center of Corporate Governance as well as the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India.
