“Sarah's work as the Founder and Chair of the NVCA's Model Legal Documents Project has firmly established her as one of the thought leaders in executing venture deals and has changed the way venture deals are done across the country,” said Edward M. Ms. Reed is just the latest in a series of high profile additions for Lowenstein in the venture and technology space. In 2005, Lowenstein added Mary J. Said Ms. Reed, “Lowenstein has not only been doing venture and private equity deals and adding talent at a remarkable rate, they have been providing creative leadership in the venture arena for both funds and portfolio companies. Given the number of venture funds in Boston already represented by Lowenstein, it was time for the firm to solidify their Boston presence.”
“Having someone we know so well who has attained this level of accomplishment will enable us to deliver even greater value to our private equity and venture fund clients as well as the portfolio companies and entrepreneurs we represent,” said Michael Rodburg, Lowenstein Sandler's Managing Partner.
Lowenstein's Tech Group now numbers over 45 attorneys representing the country's leading venture funds, successful entrepreneurs and universities in all areas of science and technology.
“In working with Lowenstein over the past years, I have been very impressed by Lowenstein's pragmatic approach to legal issues and extremely high level of client service, and believe that working with them will make me an even better lawyer and provide me with a lot of bench strength. In turn, I hope that Lowenstein's present and future clients will benefit from my experience, expertise and resourcefulness,” said Reed.
