Riveron Announces Chicago Office, Promotion

Riveron Consulting, a financial consulting firm serving private equity funds, named Chaitan Fahnestock managing director of the firm’s newly opened Chicago office.

Riveron Consulting (www.riveronconsulting.com), a financial consulting firm serving private equity funds and firms that are growing through strategic acquisitions, has named Chaitan Fahnestock managing director of the firm’s newly opened Chicago office.

Since joining Riveron in 2006, Fahnestock has served as a vice president in the firm’s Dallas headquarters. He has relocated from Dallas to Chicago to build a client service team there and to support local business development efforts already underway.

“Over the years, we’ve had numerous engagements in the Midwest. But now, with our new presence in Chicago and Chaitan Fahnestock spearheading our efforts in the region, I am confident our goals for the market will be realized,” said Landon Smith, managing partner of Riveron. “Chaitan understands the needs of our clients and has been extremely successful building relationships among our private equity clients. Prior to joining Riveron, Fahnestock worked at Grant Thornton as business development executive, Jefferson Wells International as business development manager and Ernst & Young in both its assurance and advisory practice, and in its business development unit. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
