Rosalyn Wilton Joins 3i

Rosalyn Wilton has joined 3i Group as a senior advisor focused on the media sector. She currently serves as chairwoman of Ipreo LLC, the recent merger between Hemscott PLC and i-Deal.

3i, world leading private equity and venture capital company, has strengthened its commitment to the media sector with the appointment of Rosalyn Wilton, Chairman of Ipreo LLC, the newly formed merger between Hemscott Plc and US-based i-Deal, as a senior adviser. 

Working alongside 3i's media team, Rosalyn will identify transactions in the business information space, in particular focusing on the on-line opportunities.  Rosalyn has extensive experience in this area of the media sector, having spent over 15 years in this industry.

Prior to 3i, Rosalyn spent eight years at Hemscott, having joined as CEO in 1999 and transforming the company from a small UK publisher into a leading international provider of financial data and solutions. The company has since been renamed Ipreo LLC and she remains Chairman.  Previously Rosalyn was Managing Director of Reuters Transaction Services and a member of Reuters Executive Committee. Before Reuters, she spent over 15 years in the financial markets in senior positions in the money, fixed income and derivatives areas.  Rosalyn also held non-executive positions at LIFFE, Scottish Widows' Fund and Life Assurance Society and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Optos plc.
