Samuel Siaw Joins Sirius Venture Consulting

Samuel Siaw has joined Singapore-based Sirius Venture Consulting as a director. He previously was a director with Moore Stephens LLP.

Boutique venture capital and entrepreneurial finance firm Sirius Venture Consulting Pte Ltd (together with its associated companies, known as “Sirius Group”) has enhanced its team with the appointment of a new Director (Advisory), Mr Samuel Siaw, who will focus on developing the Group’s entrepreneurial consultancy business.

Prior to joining Sirius, Samuel was a Director in Moore Stephens LLP where he worked for 3 years since October 2005. During his tenure with Moore Stephens LLP, Samuel was responsible for and involved in various publicly listed companies’ audits, IPO engagements, forensic investigation, financial due diligence and internal audit assignments. He also served as a committee member of the technical committee of Moore Stephens Asia Pacific.

Before joining Moore Stephens LLP, Samuel worked at Chio Lim Stone Forest (now known as RSM Chio Lim) for approximately 2 years, where he was responsible for publicly listed companies’ audits and IPO engagements. His clientele included Singapore companies, multi-nationals and PRC companies.

Prior to that, he was with KPMG Singapore, which he joined in 1996. During his stay with KPMG, he was seconded to KPMG Seattle, USA for approximately 2 years. In KPMG Seattle, he was a supervisor in-charge of an AMEX-listed company, and a subsidiary of a NYSE-listed company. He left KPMG as an audit manager and during his tenure, his clientele included companies from dot-com, software, oil and gas, healthcare, hospitality, trading, manufacturing industries. 

Samuel graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Honours) Degree, major in Accountancy and Money & Finance, from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He is a non-practising member of ICANZ (Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand).
