I was on CNBC’s Squawk Box this morning to discuss Alan Murray’s new column, on how SEIU president Andy Stern is bashing private equity firms in public, and cozying up to them in private. It’s really spot-on, and worth a read if you can get behind the WSJ firewall.
Unfortunately, Alan had some sort of technical difficulties — so the TV spot instead led with a Melissa Lee package about how some institutional investors are shifting their allocations away from mega-funds, and toward small and mid-market funds. We also got into the SEIU issue a bit at the end.
You can revel in the punditry here.
