Simon Lund Joins HarbourVest

Simon Lund has joined HarbourVest Partners as head of sales and marketing for Europe and MENA. He previously was with SVG Advisors.

HarbourVest Partners, LLC (“HarbourVest” or the “Firm”), a leading global alternative investment firm, announced that Mr. Simon Lund has joined HarbourVest Partners (U.K.) Limited as Head of Sales and Marketing for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In this role, Mr. Lund will manage and enhance relationships with new investors and their advisers within the EMEA geographic regions.

Simon will be based in London and will focus on the marketing of HarbourVest’s private funds, fund of funds, secondary funds, and direct/co-investment funds. His addition will complement HarbourVest’s existing investor relations team which includes Amanda McCrystal and Hannah Tobin.

Simon joins HarbourVest from SVG, a London based private equity fund-of-funds manager. Simon spent 15 years with SVG Advisers, in both London and Singapore, with a focus on the marketing and distribution of SVGs’ funds to institutional investors and new product design. Most recently he opened SVG’s Singapore office and served as a Director of SVG Advisers (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Prior to that, he was the Marketing Director at SVG Advisers Limited in London.

Mr. Lund received a MA (Hons) in Economic History and Economics from the University of Edinburgh in 1991. He also completed his ACA accountancy examinations and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen.
