Spencer Trask Ventures promotes Siek to president

Spencer Trask Ventures said Wednesday that it has promoted Michael Siek to president. Previously, Siek served as senior managing director at the company where he’s worked for 16 years. Spencer Trask Ventures is a brokerage firm that specializes in private equity and venture capital.

Mr. Siek’s industry experience spans more than twenty years in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, and investor relations both in the United States and abroad. His success is driven by his attentive engagement with company executives and board members both pre- and post-investment. Prior to joining Spencer Trask, he was with Laidlaw Equities, T.R. Winston & Co., and Lehman Brothers.
