Vancouver’s Visier Inc., which provides cloud-based workforce analytics, has named Steve Bamberger, who was formerly with Netformx and Oracle, as the company’s chief revenue officer. Bamberger will lead Visier’s sales and business development initiatives. Visier recently completed a $15 million Series B financing round led by U.S. venture capital firm Summit Partners with the participation of existing investor Foundation Capital.
Visier Names Steve Bamberger Chief Revenue Officer

Bamberger comes to Visier with twenty-two years of enterprise software experience and will lead Visier’s sales and business development functions.
The appointment of Bamberger to the role of Chief Revenue Officer at Visier coincides with the closing of its series B funding in the amount of $15 million, announced last week. The funds were raised in part to enable expansion of the company’s sales and marketing organization.

Earlier in his career, Bamberger spent seven years with Accenture, and following that he spent fifteen years with Silicon Valley software companies and held executive positions in sales, marketing, and business development with Clarify (now Amdocs), Cygent (now Convergys), Vitria Technology and Siebel Systems.
