Sullivan joins Baird Capital

Owen Sullivan has joined Baird Capital as an Operating Partner. He will work with Baird Capital technology & services to find new opportunities. Sullivan most recently served as President of Specialty Brands for ManpowerGroup.


CHICAGO, March 2, 2015 – Baird Capital, the direct private investment arm of Robert W. Baird & Co. (Baird), today announced that Owen Sullivan has joined the firm as an Operating Partner. Sullivan will work with Baird Capital’s Technology & Services team to pursue new investment opportunities as well as helping build value within the existing portfolio.

A veteran executive with more than thirty years of experience in the business solutions sector, Sullivan most recently served as President of Specialty Brands for ManpowerGroup, where he had multiple roles, including CEO of Right Management, Jefferson Wells and Experis, as well as leader of ManpowerGroup’s global sales organization. Before joining ManpowerGroup, Sullivan served as President of the Financial Services Group at Metavante providing technology services to the finance industry. Sullivan also worked as a management consultant with several venture capitalists and private equity groups, building strategic plans and evaluating acquisition opportunities.

Sullivan holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University, where he also serves on the Board of Trustees. Active in the community, Sullivan is on the boards of the Medical College of Wisconsin, Johnson Financial Group and Journal Communications, as well as Ministry HealthCare.
