Sun Capital buys Finlays Horticulture

Sun Capital Partners has acquired UK-based Finlays Horticulture, a producer and exporter of fresh produce and flowers. No financial terms were disclosed.

We are pleased to announce that an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, Inc. has completed the acquisition of Finlays Horticulture Holdings Ltd, Finlays Horticulture Investments Ltd and their subsidiaries (“Finlays Horticulture”). After closing, the company’s name was changed to Flamingo Horticulture.
Headquartered in the UK, Flamingo Horticulture is a vertically integrated horticultural business that grows, processes, packages, markets, and distributes cut flowers and premium prepared fresh vegetables. It is the largest vertically integrated, value-added producer and exporter of fresh produce and flowers to the EU. Customers include blue-chip UK retailers such as Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, as well as other international customers in South Africa and the Middle East.
