Sunstone Partners buys and combines Evergreen Systems, Cerna Solutions and Novo/Scale

This is the growth-oriented firm's second investment in the ServiceNow space, having previously invested in Fruition Partners.

Sunstone Partners has completed the acquisitions of Evergreen Systems, Cerna Solutions and Novo/Scale – creating the largest consulting provider focused exclusively on enabling the power of ServiceNow. Drake Star Partners provided financial advice to Sunstone Partners, while Outcome Capital advised Evergreen Systems and Clearsight Advisors advised Novo/Scale.


SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA, JANUARY 26, 2021 – Sunstone Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm focused on tech-enabled cloud services companies, announced it has completed the acquisitions of Evergreen Systems, Cerna Solutions, and Novo/Scale to create the largest independent consulting partner focused exclusively on enabling the power of ServiceNow across the enterprise. The combined company delivers extensive value to clients across all ServiceNow workflows, products and industries including financial, government, higher education, energy, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, travel and hospitality, retail and insurance.

The combination of these three companies, coupled with the investment from Sunstone Partners, will accelerate growth, expand expertise and capabilities, support additional customer success initiatives and improve customers’ return-on-investment on the ServiceNow platform. Sunstone’s experience in the ServiceNow platform is extensive; this is the second investment in the space by the team, which previously invested in Fruition Partners (sold to Computer Sciences Corporation, now part of DXC Technology, in 2015) while at a prior firm.

All companies will continue normal operations in their current locations. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
