Super G Funding, LLC, a leading national provider of residual and cash flow based loans to small and midsize businesses, today announced that it has held its first closing as part of a $100 million fund commitment from Inmost Discovery Capital LLC, a global asset management firm based in New York and South Korea. The committed capital enables Super G Funding to expand its residual based loan strategy to related markets and expand its deal size to meet the needs of larger businesses.
Super G Funding, led by Founder and CEO Darrin Ginsberg, is the market leader in lending to merchant services Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs) with over 450 loans successfully made since 2008. Super G will utilize the new capital to expand its lending activities to include insurance brokerages, ATM providers and Software as a Service (SaaS) providers with additional verticals to follow. “For six years we have met the growth capital needs of merchant services agents,” said Darrin Ginsberg. “In preparation for our additional funding and expansion we’ve added talented executives from adjacent, residual based industries. Super G Funding now has the ability to lend up to $5 million per client and in longer term structures.”
Super G Funding’s lending strategy is based upon years of working with small businesses that are either constrained by traditional commercial institutions or simply do not have access. “The largest factor in lending difficulties for ISO and ATM agents is that banks simply don’t understand the business model. Banks typically have strict credit criteria based on eligible collateral, and residual streams are not a traditional eligible asset,” said Marc Cole, Chief Financial Officer of Super G Funding.
