Swann Leaves LDC for Inflexion

Richard Swann has agreed to join Inflexion Private Equity as an investment director, after previously having been with rival UK mid-market buyout firm LDC.

Inflexion Private Equity, the mid market private equity investor, today announces the appointment of Richard Swann as Investment Director. Richard will join Inflexion on 1st November 2008.

 

Richard joins from LDC where he was Investment Director between 2005-2008, most recently leading the MBO of NAH and co-leading investments in GVA and Commercial First. Prior to that, Richard was a Partner at Deloitte Corporate Finance, leading the Midlands corporate finance business and latterly heading the National Industrials Sector group. Educated at Birmingham University, Richard gained a first class degree in Biochemistry before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1991. Richard also holds a Masters in Business Administration from Warwick University.

 

Richard is Inflexion’s third appointment this year. This ongoing growth and investment in the team enables Inflexion to put a large and experienced team on any transaction, including a high proportion of decision-making senior personnel, resulting in a swift and efficient deal process.
