Michael Hewett will join Strategic Value Partners after a six-year run as managing director and head of investor relations with Terra Firma Capital Partners. He will be a managing director leading business development in Europe and the Middle East at SVP, working under Victor Khosla and Jean-Louis Lelogeais, co-founders of the firm.

Greenwich (CT) and London, July 12, 2011 — Strategic Value Partners, LLC, a leading alternative investment firm focused on distressed, deep value and turnaround opportunities, today announced that Michael Hewett has joined the senior management of SVP as a Managing Director to lead business development in Europe and the Middle East.
Mr. Hewett will work closely with the two co-founders of SVP, Victor Khosla and Jean-Louis Lelogeais, to expand further SVP’s already strong international investor base. Previously, he spent six years at Terra Firma Capital Partners, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations. Prior to Terra Firma, he was a member of the senior team of the placement agent Atlantic-Pacific Capital for five years, which was preceded by nine years at Morgan Stanley most of which was in the private equity arena.
