Thackray Quits Director Post at UK-Based Ronaldsway Private Equity

Adele Thackray has resigned as non-executive director of UK-based Ronaldsway Private Equity, effective immediately. She will be replaced by John Leece. Previously, Leece worked at Macmillan Davies Hodes and was finance director of the public relations group within Chime Communications.

Ronaldsway announces that Adele Thackray has resigned as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect and that John Leece will be joining the Board as a Non-Executive Director in her place.

We are delighted to announce that John Leece has agreed to join the Board as a Non-Executive Director. John qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986 after training with Arthur Andersen. He has worked in Marketing Communications at Board level for 25 years in media buying, advertising and public relations. He worked for an Omnicom Group subsidiary, Macmillan Davies Hodes, for six years and spent 12 years as Finance Director of the Public Relations Group within Chime Communications PLC (“Chime”).
As a commercial, operational Finance Director he has experience of managing both large and small businesses. He has managed several mergers and recognises both the opportunities and problems that can arise. He has extensive working capital management expertise and has successfully built and managed teams.
At Chime his role became that of a trusted advisor to the Managing Directors of the subsidiary businesses.
His work has covered all aspects of financial and management reporting. In June 2012, he helped deliver the MBO of the Bell Pottinger Group from Chime in a debt/equity deal valued at £26.4million.
We believe John will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Ronaldsway and help us deliver our new mandate going forward.”
The Directors do not currently hold any shares in the Company.
