The Gores Group has promoted Jon Gimbel to the position of managing director of Gores Small Capitalization Partners. Gimbel joined Gores in 2003 as an associate.

The Gores Group, a leading Los Angeles‐based investment firm, announced the promotion of Jon Gimbel to the position of Managing Director of Gores Small Capitalization Partners.
Mr. Gimbel joined Gores in 2003 as an Associate and after earning an MBA at Harvard Business School, returned as a Vice President in 2007. In 2012, Mr. Gimbel transitioned to Gores Small Capitalization Partners, Gores’ debut small cap fund targeting investments in the lower middle market.
Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Gimbel was an Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Gimbel currently serves on the Board of Directors of Etrali Trading Solutions, Melle Dachbaustoffe and Natterbox.
