The Jordan Company, L.P. (“TJC”), a leading middle-market private equity firm, today announced that a group of investors, led by The Resolute Fund, L.P., completed the sale of Wound Care Holdings, LLC (“Wound Care”) to National Healing Corporation. Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

TJC, in partnership with The Edgewater Funds and JZ Capital Partners plc, formed Wound Care Holdings in April 2006 to participate in chronic wound care, a highly fragmented and underserved market. Demand for wound care services is driven by the increasing incidence of patients with chronic wounds, including the elderly and diabetic populations, and the growing utilization of advanced treatments.

The Company consists of two separate business units, Diversified Clinics, Inc. (“Diversified”) and Sechrist Industries, Inc. (“Sechrist”). Diversified is the leading outsourced provider of wound care clinic management services to more than 350 hospitals nationwide. Sechrist is the world’s leading manufacturer of monoplace hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers, a critical piece of equipment in comprehensive wound care centers, as well as other respiratory care products.

“Together with the management team, we helped build Wound Care through a combination of industry acquisitions and organic growth,” said Adam E. Max, Managing Principal of TJC. “We are confident that Wound Care will continue to deliver on its tradition of high quality care and related services excellence with the support of National Healing. The merged company is well-positioned to serve and benefit from continued growth in chronic disease markets.”

National Healing, an industry leader in providing wound healing management for hospitals and turnkey hyperbaric oxygen services, is a portfolio company of Metalmark Capital.

SNR Denton US LLP and Winston & Strawn LLP acted as legal advisors to TJC.
