The Jordan Company has agreed to acquire Transilwrap Company, a manufacturer, converter and distributor of plastic film used in printing, laminating, packaging and industrial applications. As part of the announced acquisition, CIT Group has arranged a $160 million senior secured credit facility.

(NYSE: CIT) cit.com, a leading provider of financing and advisory services to small businesses and middle market companies, today announced that it arranged a $160 million senior secured credit facility for The Jordan Company, a middle market private equity firm, to support its acquisition of Transilwrap Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer, converter and distributor of plastic film used in printing, laminating, packaging and industrial applications.
CIT Corporate Finance served as Lead Arranger and Administrative Agent for the transaction. Financing was provided by CIT Bank, the U.S. commercial bank subsidiary of CIT. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
