Move over Tim Draper. Step back Soul Patch. There’s a new venture capitalist on the rock scene.
It’s Brian Connors, a general partner with Formative Ventures (the one standing in the middle). He’s lead guitarist for classic rock cover band The Shanks, which recently released its debut CD titled Songs from the Rough. Good driving music, with songs like Soul Sacrifice (Santana) and Ain’t Talking ‘Bout Love (Van Halen). Also includes a pair of live tracks.
We at peHUB like Brian and Formative, particularly because they’ve helped us put together a couple of mini-shindigs in Menlo Park (their office is right across from The Dutch Goose). However, I really could have gone a lifetime without seeing Brian dressed as Dr. Frank-n-Furter.
