Toronto-based Manulife Asset Management expands global consultant relations team

Manulife Asset Management said Tuesday that it has named Richard J. Bonzagni to its global consultant relations team. The appointment became effective September 23, 2013. Bonzagni, a managing director based in Boston, reports to Brian E. Torrisi, senior managing director and global head of consultant relations. Previously, Bonzagni worked at Cadence Capital Management. Based in Toronto, Manulife Asset Management is the global asset management unit of Manulife Financial.


BOSTON, Oct. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Manulife Asset Management today announced that Richard J. Bonzagni has joined the global consultant relations team, effective September 23rd. A Managing Director based in Boston, Mr. Bonzagni reports to Brian E. Torrisi, Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Consultant Relations.

Mr. Bonzagni spent the last 13 years with Cadence Capital Management, a Boston-based boutique investment manager. Most recently he was a Principal with consultant relations, sales and client service responsibilities. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and holds Series 6 and 63 licenses.
