TransForce Inc (TSX: TFI) has completed its purchase of Transport America Inc, a provider of truckload carriage and logistics services and a portfolio company of U.S. private equity firm Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison. The previously announced deal was valued at around US$310 million, including the assumption of Transport America’s debt, which totaled US$150 million.
