Global placement agent Triago has hired Virginie Bourel as a partner and head of strategic advisory in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Previously, Bourel served as director at Quartilium, a Paris-based private equity fund-of-funds, managed by Groupama Private Equity.
September 22, 2014 – Private equity industry veteran Virginie Bourel joins Triago this month as Partner and Head of Strategic Advisory in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Her appointment to this new position marks an important expansion in the resources of Triago’s rapidly growing strategic advisory practice.

Before joining Triago, Ms. Bourel was an Investment Director at Quartilium, a Paris-based private equity fund-of-funds, managed by Groupama Private Equity. She played a major role expanding Quartilium’s operations in the United States, Europe and Asia, making investments in buyout, venture capital, mezzanine, real asset, and credit opportunities. A French citizen, Ms. Bourel earned an MS in corporate finance from Paris-Sorbonne University.
