Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. (“TPH”) announced today the hiring of Scott W. Archer, 38, as Managing Director in Investment Banking. Archer will specialize in Midstream and MLPs at the energy investment banking firm.
“We are delighted that Scott is joining our team. A revolution is upon us in the infrastructure build out in North America. The shale plays were just the beginning of what could be a decade-long reworking of delivery and processing systems, including vast expansion of the facilities needed to take advantage of North America’s production resurgence and extremely competitive fuel costs. TPH will be spending more and more time with our clients in this exciting arena, and Scott will be an important part of that effort,” said Bobby Tudor, CEO of TPH.
Archer joins TPH after 13 years with Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Global Energy & Power Group, where he focused primarily on Midstream and MLP energy companies. Over his career, Scott has worked on several billion dollars of advisory and financing transactions for his clients.
TPH’s other investment bankers dedicated to the Midstream sector include Steve Jones, Managing Director; Houston Simmons, Vice President; and Casey Gorder, Associate.
Archer received an MBA with honors from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas and received a BBA degree with dual majors in Honors Business and Finance also from The University of Texas.
Archer will be based in Houston, Texas. TPH serves corporate clients with an over 50-person strong investment banking team based in Houston, New York and Denver. The firm has more than 150 employees in its Securities, Investment Banking and Asset Management divisions, and also has a London office.
