Diamondhead Ventures
This one is better described as buried, since the firm’s co-founding partners announced in late 2007 that they would be joining Onset Ventures. They continue to manage five remaining portfolio company’s from Diamondhead’s $140 million debut fund (2000), but all of their new deals are done under the Onset banner.
Among the hits in Diamondhead’s short life were Cavium Networks (Nasdaq: CAVM), Danger Inc. (bought by Microsoft) and Reactivity (acquired by Cisco).
