


Departures at Vector Capital have been adding up in recent months, though the firm has also continued hiring.
Vector has hired a new director of investor relations, Sunny Kang, to replace Jonathan Moll, who left recently to join White Oak Global Advisors, Vector confirmed.
Kang joined the firm from Brevan Howard, where she worked on marketing and investor relations. Prior to Brevan Howard, Kang worked at Orion Consultants, according to an internal email from Vector.
Moll was one of several executives that have left Vector in recently months. Stuart Horowitz, who worked as a senior operations executive focusing on human capital at Vector for over a year, left the firm recently. He is now listed as a managing director at Gordon Grace Group, a human resources advisory firm, according to the firm’s website.
Senior associate Marten Abrahamsen, who had worked at Vector since 2011, also left and joined Coatue Management this year, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Other recent high level changes include Amish Mehta, a managing director and partner who had been with the firm since 2002, who stepped back into the role of senior adviser. Rock Meng, a principal who had worked at Vector since 2005, left the firm.
Vector also has hired some new people, bringing in David Ramazetti last year as managing director in charge of business development and deal generation across the firm. Also last year, Vector hired MCG Capital executive Andrew Jacobson as a managing director, and Ariel Garcia as a principal to focus on strategy and portfolio operations.
Vector Capital calls itself a value investor in established technology businesses, both public and private.
