Verizon is exploring a sale of its media assets, which include Yahoo and AOL, reported the Wall Street Journal. The news outlet noted that the sale could generate between $4 billion and $5 billion. Also, Apollo Global Management is said to be involved in the sales process. Verizon paid more than $9 billion in total for AOL in 2015 and Yahoo in 2017 and then reorganized the businesses under former AOL CEO Tim Armstrong.
