Virtua Partners beefs up Phoenix operations with three hires

Virtua Partners has expanded its Phoenix office with three additions. Quyp Development, an affiliate of Virtua, has hired Anthony Hinrichs as project manager while Derrick Westrick and Zachary Chavez will join Virtua Capital Management’s investor relations division.


PHOENIX, July 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Private equity firm Virtua Partners has expanded its Phoenix operations with the addition of three veteran hires. Anthony Hinrichs has joined Virtua affiliate Quyp Development as Project Manager, and Derrick Westrick and Zachary Chavez will strengthen the Investor Relations division of Virtua Capital Management.

Anthony Hinrichs, Project Manager
Anthony Hinrichs has over 20 years of experience in construction and development of residential and commercial properties. His background includes commercial projects ranging from restaurants, grocery stores, and hotels across the country with a focus on the Phoenix market. Tony earned a B.S. from the Everglades University in Engineering.

Derrick Westrick, Investor Relations
Derrick Westrick has worked within the banking industry for six years and brings a deep knowledge of finance, banking operations, regulatory guidance, and personal banking/investment services. His experience includes positions at Northern Trust and JP Morgan Chase working directly with customers on business banking, personal lending, investments, securities transactions and credit solutions. Derrick holds a B.A. from the University of Arizona in Political Science, and a master’s degree from Colorado State University Global in Finance with a minor in Accounting.

Zachary Chavez, Investor Relations
Zachary Chavez has worked with the Vanguard Group as a senior trader on its block trading desk specializing in derivatives, foreign, and large block trading. He initiated his career at the CME Group, then moved to Northern Trust as a derivatives analyst. Zach brings a wealth of Capital Markets experience and holds his Series 7, 63, and 57 licenses with FINRA. He graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Political Science, with a concentration on International Political Economy.
