Waller Capital Partners, LLC, (“Waller”), a New York-based independent investment bank and advisory firm focused on the telecommunications, media and technology sectors, today announced that William L. Bradley has joined the firm as a Managing Director. Mr. Bradley will lead Waller’s efforts with data center, managed hosting and cloud computing clients, and will also support the Firm’s rapidly growing telecom infrastructure practice.
Mr. Bradley joins Waller Capital from Credit Suisse where, as head of Telecommunications M&A in the U.S., he focused on data center and hosting operators, fixed line companies for enterprises and consumers and wireless operators and was instrumental in building a robust telecommunications M&A business. Mr. Bradley has 15 years of experience on Wall Street and has advised clients on approximately $150 billion of strategic transactions, including the $2.0 billion sale of Terremark Worldwide to Verizon in 2011, the largest ever hosting transaction at the time of announcement. Other recent notable transactions include advising Singapore Technologies Telemedia on the $3.0 billion sale of Global Crossing to Level 3, advising the Independent Directors of the Board of Telephone and Data Systems on a share reclassification and advising the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Golden Telecom on its $4.3 billion sale to VimpelCom.
“Bill is a world-class M&A banker who has been among the most active advisors to telecom companies over the past few years,” said Garrett Baker, President of Waller Capital. “His deep experience with data center companies and extensive senior relationships within the world’s largest telecom operators make him a perfect addition to our team as we continue expanding our coverage of the highest-growth areas of TMT.”
“Waller Capital has built a sterling reputation over its 30-year history advising clients in the media, communications and digital information sectors,” said Mr. Bradley. “The Firm’s recent successes in telecom infrastructure and its long relationships across the most relevant, adjacent sectors should provide significant opportunities as the industry continues to evolve. I am thrilled to continue providing unbiased, independent advice to my clients from the platform that John, Garrett and their team have built.”
Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Bradley spent nine years with Citigroup Global Markets, where he provided strategic advisory services and transaction execution primarily for telecommunications service providers, media and satellite companies. He was previously with Soros Capital where he made principal investments across a variety of industries. Mr. Bradley received his MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University and his BA from Tufts University.
