Yellowstone Landscape Adds On

Yellowstone Landscape Group, a portfolio company of Gridiron Capital, has acquired Austin Outdoor, a Bunnell, Fla.-based provider of landscaping services in Florida and The Bahamas. No financial terms were disclosed.

Bunnell-based Austin Outdoor (www.austinoutdoor.net) today announced that it has become part of the Yellowstone Landscape Group (www.yellowstonelandscape.com), one of the largest full service and environmentally focused landscape providers in the United States. Austin Outdoor’s leadership will retain significant ownership in Yellowstone and will lead the Company’s expansion in Florida and the Bahamas.

Jodi is based in Voyager’s Silicon Valley office, where she leads Voyager’s wireless sector team. She has over ten years of entrepreneurial and venture investment experience in the wireless and communications sectors. Jodi is a board member or observer at 1020, Airlink Communications (acquired by Sierra Wireless, Nasdaq:SWIR), Tropos Networks, Melodeo, and Contivo.

Prior to joining Voyager Capital in 2001, Jodi was a Senior Associate at Battery Ventures, where she invested in early stage companies in the wireless data, semiconductor process control, and communications software sectors. In 1999 she was selected as a Kauffman Fellow in venture capital by the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. She also worked in the technology industry group at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where she led projects for clients such as Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector, Pacific Bell, and Sun Microsystems. Jodi was on the founding team of several successful start-ups, including Prague based executive search firm Personnel Select (now a division of TMP Worldwide). Jodi is a regular speaker and panelist on the topics of wireless communications and venture investment. She is a frequent columnist in industry publications such as RCR Wireless and she is co-author of a book titled Telecommunication Venture Capital Best Practices, due out in December 2007. She serves on the Board of Advisors for the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs & Executives and on the Executive Council of Astia.

Jodi graduated magna cum laude from Pomona College with a concentration in Physics and holds an M.B.A. in finance and marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
