YFM Equity Partners‘ British Smaller Companies VCT has named Rupert Cook as an independent non-executive director. Cook is the founder of Red Penguin Ventures Limited and a partner in MKRC Ventures. He is a former partner at Realise Capital Partners LLP.
YFM Equity Partners’ (YFM’s) British Smaller Companies VCT plc (BSC) has announced the appointment of Rupert Cook as an independent non-executive director.
Rupert specialises in corporate and business development, with twenty five years’ experience of technology, sales, marketing and general management, including fifteen years in corporate finance and investment. Earlier in his career, he was a senior manager at Cap Gemini plc and then Director of Advisory Services at Interregnum plc.
Rupert is the founder of Red Penguin Ventures Limited, and was previously a partner at Realise Capital Partners LLP, both of which are firms which advise and invest in a range of technology businesses. He is also a partner in MKRC Ventures, which has made eight investments in early-stage technology businesses since 2014.
Rupert also became Chairman of BSC’s Investment Committee upon his appointment to the Board.
