Palladium expects over 3x return on Sahale Snacks sale

Palladium Equity Partners has completed the sale of Sahale Snacks, a manufacturer and marketer of premium, branded nut and fruit snacks.

The business has been sold to The J. M. Smucker Company. The transaction is expected to generate 3.3x cash on cash return for Palladium investors.

Sahale Snacks is the third major sale by Palladium Equity Partners of a food-related investment to a strategic buyer in recent years. Palladium previously sold Wise Foods, a maker of salty snacks, to Arca Continental and Castro Cheese Company, a marketer of Hispanic cheeses and creams, to Dairy Farmers of America.

Palladium is based in New York City and in April announced a final closing of Palladium Equity Partners IV at $1.14 billion.
