The Foundry Group said it named Chris Moody as a partner, scheduled to start at the end of the summer.
Moody was most recently VP and GM of Data & Solutions at Twitter and before that CEO of Gnip, which Twitter acquired in 2014. He has been a mentor at Techstars and served on the boards of two Foundry Group portfolio companies, Pantheon and mLab.
As Foundry Group raised new funds, the firm’s partners realized their ability to manage the business was becoming limited by time and capacity, said co-founder Brad Feld in a blog post. The firm has a policy not to hire associates, venture partners, or EIRs.
