The hire will interact with the investment team and outside counsel on private fund investments in mezzanine debt, second lien and minority equity co-investments; assist with the formation of GoldPoint’s proprietary funds; and review and draft vendor agreements and confidentiality agreements. Candidates should have a minimum of seven years’ experience at a leading Wall Street law firm or in-house asset management firm with a focus on private equity and debt investments, and Investment Advisers Act matters. J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management is searching for a private equity co-investment specialist. Duties include leading the sourcing, execution and monitoring of co-investment opportunities; helping to develop a dedicated co-investment fund for GWM private clients; active involvement in the Morgan Private Ventures co-investment investment program; and partnering with the firm’s due diligence team to maintain strong GP relationships. Candidates should have 10 plus years of hands-on experience sourcing, evaluating and executing buy-side private investments. A CFA or MBA is preferred. The position is in New York.
Macquarie is seeking an energy infrastructure senior associate. The hire will focus primarily on energy infrastructure investments, comprised of utility, conventional and renewable power, midstream and downstream infrastructure. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or higher. Experience in private equity or corporations active in energy infrastructure are strongly preferred. The position is in New York.
Evercore‘s private capital advisory group is looking to hire an associate. This group specializes in providing liquidity solutions to institutional investors and their managers through secondary transactions in the private equity, hedge fund, real estate and infrastructure markets. According to the firm, “associates must demonstrate the ability to work on several projects concurrently and possess the desire to learn and work hard.” Candidates should have banking or finance experience; an MBA degree is preferred. The position is in New York.
MetLife’s middle-market private capital unit is on the hunt for an investment analyst. The hire will conduct business, financial and industry research to evaluate potential direct and fund investment opportunities; develop detailed financial models and sensitivity analyses to assess performance scenarios and capital structure alternatives; and work with team to prepare written investment committee memorandums and presentations. Also, he or she will monitor current portfolio investments and provide quarterly/annual updates. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field. The position is in Whippany, New Jersey.
