Morgan Stanley is looking to hire a vice president to join the media and communications investment banking team. The hire will work with regional and international clients on a wide range of complex transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, shareholder relations, recapitalizations, demergers, leveraged buyouts and defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts, strategic advisory assignments and executions of public and private capital markets transactions. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree. An MBA, CA and/or CFA designation would be an asset. The position is in Los Angeles.

Wind Point Partners is looking to hire a private equity associate prior to him or her pursuing a graduate degree in business. He or she will take an active role in researching and evaluating new investment opportunities and work with potential and existing executives executing new deals and working with portfolio companies. Candidates typically have two to four years of investment banking, consulting or private equity experience and demonstrate resourcefulness, quantitative and analytical skills, the ability to work independently and solid interpersonal skills. The position is in Chicago.

Robert W. Baird is looking to hire an investment banking associate for its government services team. The hire will provide execution support for public equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions and other financial advisory services for clients across a number of sectors. Also, he or she will lead the preparation of company valuations, financial models, company marketing documents and client presentations in addition to performing research and various analyses in support of new business generation. Candidates must have a year of work experience in a financial or quantitative role. Experience working for a top-tier investment bank is preferred. The position is in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

Goldsmith and Co is on the hunt for a private equity/mezzanine associate. The hire will be involved in all aspects of a private equity/private debt investment transaction, including sourcing, diligence, execution and post-closing portfolio investment monitoring. He or she will be an integral part of the investment team and is responsible for many important aspects of a live transaction, including financial analysis and due diligence processes. Candidates should have multiple years of Investment banking and private equity/credit experience. Industry coverage or financial sponsors group experience and/or a strong credit background is a plus. The position is in New York.
