Gemini Bioproducts LLC, which is backed by BelHealth Investment Partners LLC, has named John Roderick as chief operating officer and Scott Kantor as chief financial officer. Recently, Roderick was director of validation for Gilead Sciences Inc while Kantor previously spent 4 years at a BelHealth portfolio company, where he held CFO and COO roles overseeing finance, accounting and operations. Gemini is a maker of biological products and chemical reagents for the cell culture community.

Bain Capital Private Equity has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Waltham, Massachusetts-based Rocket Software, a provider of enterprise modernization and optimization solutions. The value of the deal is about $2 billion. The deal is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2018. Rocket Software is currently owned by Court Square Capital Partners.
