Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc has hired Matt Maley as a managing director and head of the bank's private equity sponsor coverage group. Maley will begin his new position on September 4, 2018. Previously, Maley worked at Deutsche Bank where he was most recently a senior member of the financial sponsors group.
Arch Street Capital Advisors and GTIS have sold on behalf of an institutional client a portfolio of single-family rental home properties across four U.S. states. The price was $268 million.
Baceline Investments has acquired four shopping malls: Brookfield, Wisconsin-based Capitol Drive; Fort Worth-based North Town Center; Nashville-based Edge O Lake Shoppes; and Clearfield, Utah-based Antelope Plaza. The total price of the acquisition was $18 million.

Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Neon Therapeutics, an immuno-oncology company developing neoantigen-based therapeutic vaccines and T cell therapies to treat cancer, has debuted its IPO after pricing its 6.25 million shares at $16 per share. The stock began trading June 27, 2018 on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "NTGN." Morgan Stanley, BofA Merrill Lynch and Mizuho Securities are the lead underwriters. Neon Therapeutics' pre-IPO backers include Partner Fund Management, Third Rock Ventures, Access Industries, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Wellington Management Company, Inbio Ventures and Nextech Invest.
THL Credit has agreed to acquire the collateral management business of Kramer Van Kirk Credit Strategies LP. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Chicago, KVK manages seven collateralized loan obligations totalling about $3.4 billion. The deal is expected to close during the summer of 2018.
