Balance Point Capital has named Adam Sauerteig as vice president and Grant Goher as senior associate. Sauerteig rejoined the firm in 2015 as an associate while Groher formerly worked at the financial sponsors group at Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC.

Palm Beach Capital has made an investment in New Jersey-based Lyneer Staffing Solutions LLC, a provider of permanent, temporary and temp-to-perm placement services. No financial terms were disclosed.

Satori Capital has acquired a controlling stake in Chicago-based Zorch International Inc, a maker of branded merchandise and promotional products. No financial terms were disclosed.

Applied Composites, a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners LP, has acquired San Diego Composites, a composites supplier. No financial terms were disclosed. Berkeley Research Group LLC served as financial adviser to AEI on the transaction.

Intermedix, which is backed by Thomas H. Lee Partners, has spun off its emergency preparedness and response division following the sale of its healthcare unit to R1 RCM Inc. The new company will be named Juvare, which will also be backed by THL. Robert E. Watson will serve as president and CEO of Juvare.

Stone Point Capital has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Ada, Oklahoma-based LegalShield, a provider of identify theft solutions. The seller is MidOcean Partners. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of this year. Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets and Three Ocean Partners served as financial advisers to MidOcean on the deal while Kirkland & Ellis provided legal advice. UPDATE: MidOcean is retaining a minority stake in LegalShield.

Butterfly Equity has acquired Modern Market, an operator of fast casual restaurants in Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Washington, D.C. and Maryland. No financial terms were disclosed. Piper Jaffray served as financial adviser to Modern Market on the deal.

The Riverside Company has acquired Salt Lake City-based Real Property Management, a property management franchise, as an add-on for its Dwyer Group platform. No financial terms were disclosed. Jones Day provided legal counsel on the deal for Riverside while Madison Capital, GE Capital, NXT Capital, NewStar Financial, Midcap Financial and Ares Capital provided financing for the transaction.

Motor Fuel Group, which is backed by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, has acquired UK-based MRH, a gas station and convenience retail operator. No financial terms were disclosed. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of this year.

Z-Medica LLC, a provider of hemostatic devices, has named Eric Compton as president and CEO. His appointment becomes effective March 5, 2018. Compton is a former chief operating officer of Hologic. Z-Medica is backed by Linden Capital Partners.
