M&Q, a portfolio company of Capital Partners, has acquired Avon, Ohio-based Flavorseal, a food packaging company. No financial terms were disclosed.
Caliber and Habitat Metro have acquired eight buildings in Mesa, Arizona. The price of the acquisition was $7.5 million. The transaction is part of a revitalization project for Mesa, Arizona.
Vancouver-based gaming company Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Ltd plans to raise a new senior secured credit facility from a syndicate of lenders. Included in the financing will be a US$305 million first-lien secured term loan facility and an up to $150 million senior secured revolving facility with a sub-limit of US$25 million. The 2018 facility will be used to refinance the company’s senior debt. In conjunction with this transaction, Gateway, a portfolio company of Canadian private equity firm Catalyst Capital Group, agreed to a sale-and-leaseback deal involving three casino properties.
Parthenon Capital Partners has made an undisclosed investment in RedCard. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, RedCard is a provider of claims communications, payments and enrollment solutions to healthcare providers, payors and members. Cain Brothers served as financial adviser to RedCard on the transaction.

Oak Hill Capital Partners has appointed Ken DiPietro as chief talent officer and senior adviser. Previously, DiPetro led HR management at various companies, which include Biogen, Lenovo Group and Microsoft.
